For quite some time, REBHAN has been a leading development partner of Eastman, a global materials innovator. REBHAN and Eastman Renew Solutions share a vision to increase the amount of plastic going into the standardised recycling stream.
At LUXEPACK in Monaco, REBHAN is one of the first packaging manufacturers worldwide to showcase the latest recyclable resin, Cristal™ One E. Rebhan is currently taking product inquiries for bottles up to a volume of 75 ml. Each design request will be fully evaluated for feasibility based on package shape and size.
Cristal™ One E is specifically designed for extrusion blow moulded bottles for the cosmetics industry and is suitable for skin, hair, and body care products. Cristal™ One E brings to the market a recyclable option for extrusion blow moulding, and can be offered with up to 100% certified recycled content* thanks to Eastman’s molecular recycling technologies. It is 100% compatible with the usual PET recycling streams with endorsement from APR in the USA and the EPBP in Europe. Using this material for packaging solutions promotes the optimization of plastic recycling and therefore the reuse of valuable raw materials.
The best thing about Cristal™ One E is that bottles can be manufactured with excellent clarity, brilliance, toughness and chemical resistance. In the cosmetics industry, sustainability is now far more than just a fashionable trend, but rather a major decision-making factor. However, the high quality aesthetics of the packaging plays an equally important part. In working with Eastman, REHBAN aims to reconcile seemingly irreconcilable opposites in packaging solutions: beauty, practicality, and sustainability. Cristal™ One E also enables sharp-edged designs, an impressive design feature compared to what is possible with standard PET.
REBHAN mainly uses this pioneering material in the area of thick-walled bottles and flacons to create brilliant, crystal-clear packaging with the look and feel of glass, but without the disadvantages thereof.
REBHAN packaging solutions with Cristal™ One E present high-quality products to perfection: crystal clear and sparklingly beautiful – and practically unbreakable. This is an invaluable advantage, particularly for beauty products which are mainly used in bathrooms with tiles and washbasins. There is also little risk of breakage during shipping – the products reach the end user unscathed thanks to the outstanding durability of Cristal™ One E. Both the logistics costs and the transport emissions are reduced because of the lighter weight in comparison to glass.

Cristal™ One E bringt eine recycelbare Option für das Extrusionsblasen auf den Markt und kann dank der molekularen Recyclingtechnologien von Eastman mit bis zu 100 % zertifiziertem Recyclinganteil* angeboten werden. Es ist zu 100 % mit den üblichen PET-Recyclingströmen kompatibel und wird von der APR in den USA und der EPBP in Europa gebilligt. Durch den Einsatz dieses Materials für Verpackungslösungen wird die Optimierung des Kunststoff-Recyclings und somit die Wiederverwendung wertvoller Rohstoffe gefördert.
